BEATS ACADEMY

This was one of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on in a min. Over 8 weeks, 14 Beats Academy students teamed up with me and other mentors from Beats and Translation to create two spots, custom headphones, and hype tracks for pro athletes Rickea Jackson and Brenden Rice.

Worked as Art Direction Mentor / Creative Lead alongside Dotun Bello as Copywriter Mentor / Creative Lead.

 

And here is the result of 8 weeks of teach students the basics of advertising and the difference between an INSIGHT, IDEA, and EXECUTION. Talking to talent, pitching to client and so on.

 

 Even got an Ad Age editors pick… I guess giving back pays off.
